The sanctuary

Built into the cliff, not on top of it

Navéra is cut into the basalt wall of Ribeira Funda, so every suite faces open water and no roofline breaks the ridge. Volcanic stone, local chestnut and lime plaster keep the interiors quiet. The forest does the rest.
